The chart below details the different blood pressure ranges, to help you understand and monitor your BP. If you have a look at the menu down on the right, there is lots of information and advice on blood pressure, including how to control HBP and reduce the risks of heart attacks and strokes.
When I was first told my BP was high, I was only 20, the high blood pressure measurement was dismissed by my doctor as anxiety (white-coat hypertension), as I had no idea what a normal reading was, I left it at that for 14 years, 14 years with high blood pressure becuase there were no websites and BP charts way back when... That is why I created this website.
The blood pressure chart below is suitable for all adults as whilst BP raises with age, the ranges for low (hypotension), high (hypertension) and normal blood pressure remain the same.
To use the blood pressure chart, follow a line from your systolic number across to your diastolic number, this gives you your BP reading and shows your BP range. Here is a larger version of this chart. You can download a printable version of the Blood Pressure Chart in PDF (right click & click save as to download).
High Blood Pressure Causes 62% of all Strokes and 49% of all Heart Attacks... Check your BP on the blood pressure chart. If the chart shows you are in the prehypertension or hypertension ranges, do something about it, even if it is just having a chat with your doctor. The blood pressure chart is for all adults regardless of age, as whilst your age rises, the thresholds for prehypertension and hypertension don't! (there is no blood pressure chart by age!) No matter what your age - if your BP is above 140/90 you should set about lowering it. You can record and monitor your readings on our printable blood pressure log.
Hypertension is known as the silent killer – don’t wait until it is too late! It the chart says your BP is too high, do something about it!
Blood Pressure Charts has a blood pressure chart which shows the various BP ranges so you can check your readings. It is full of information about understanding and controlling hypertension. There is advice on how to reduce high blood pressure naturally, and conventional medical hypertension treatment, guidelines and medicines.
